THE CHALLENGE
Edward Jones was celebrating its 90th year servicing clients and was looking forward to continued growth. More than 13,000 financial advisors were building businesses with the Edward Jones name and while each was looking for better ways to serve clients.
Design a site that promoted the value of Edward Jones and innovation in the investment industry, while also giving each of the 13,000 financial advisors tools to personalize their business.
THE SOLUTION
We immersed ourselves in Edward Jones.
We didn’t just go visit Edward Jones’ headquarters in St. Louis, we attended financial advisor training with new financial advisors, we visited Edward Jones offices, and we conducted hundreds of hours of user research to learn what Edward Jones’ potential clients would want a new web experience to offer.
13,001 sites
We also created a template and flexible content containers for financial advisors so they could add personalized content and choose from different types of “corporate” content to tell the story of their businesses.
Best Financial Services Website
The design won the Web Marketing Association's best of award in terms of ease of navigation, straightforward design, and available options for users.
